Senior Web developer

Currently we are looking for a Senior Web developer to join one of our teams.

As a Senior Web Developer you will be responsible for maintaining client side components of development projects and defining and implementing innovative web based solutions and development strategies. You will be required to deliver web pages and convert creative Photoshop documents and information architect wireframes into production-ready user interfaces whilst integrating into the specified integrated development environments (.NET, JAVA or other). As a Senior  Web Developer you will be required to have basic object orientated programmer skills and have a basic understanding and ability to software engineer.

Responsibilities
•Hands-on development of solutions.
•Expert HTML, JavaScript and CSS developer, with experience working on a number of award winning projects.
•Implement industry and company development standards and our design standards in all work.
•Produce complex templates for large projects across a range of disciplines.
•Define user interface strategy and best practice.
•Integrate flash and backend technologies with front end development work with little or no help from Software Engineers or Creative Developers.
•Suggest alternative technical solutions/approaches to deliver business requirement where possible to improve efficiency.
•Ensure that reuse of existing solutions and code is promoted throughout all work conducted.
•Ensure that the Web Development team obtaining deliverables from the Creative and User
Experience teams for implementation on time. Escalates concerns to Technical Delivery, Client Service or Project Management teams.
•Constant communication with the Technical Delivery Manager to ensure complete visibility of current workstream.
•Communicate all Client Services and Project Management concerns or change requests to the
Technical Delivery Manager.
•Actively participate in peer (code) review process and share expertise with colleagues.
•Mentor and guide other developers.

Requirements:
- Excellent HTML
- Excellent CSS
- Good/Excellent JavaScript
- Good XSLT
- Excellent jQuery and general Javascript library knowledge
- General experience working with .NET C# and Software Engineers
- Good experience with Visual Studio (including basic debugging)
- Excellent Good Photoshop skills

Beneficial skills
- Experience with Ektron
- Understanding of complex tracking (particularly Omniture SiteCatalyst)
- Experience maintaining medium sized websites
- Previous experience in Automotive
