Ciklum Launches a Series of Seminars on Nearshoring
Ciklum announces the launch of a series of seminars on Nearshore software development to meet the rapidly increasing demand for Nearshoring related information within Switzerland and other German speaking markets.
ZURICH, Switzerland - February 9th, 2012 - Ciklum, a Danish innovative IT Outsourcing company specialized in nearshore software development in Eastern Europe, specifically in Ukraine and Belarus, observes an increasing interest in Nearshoring within Switzerland. Companies interested in this topic seek a platform to exchange experiences and discuss issues. As an attempt to provide such a platform, Ciklum AG is launching a series of seminars for prospects, customers and Nearshore specialists. All seminars will be held in Zurich during 2012. The first seminar on Innovative Mobile Solutions will take place on March 7th, 2012. Two other Nearshoring seminars will follow on June 20th and October 23rd, 2012.
Each Ciklum seminar aims to address a certain strategic topic as well as share customer references, procedures, best practices and results. "Our seminars aim to provide a platform for sharing knowledge and experience and should in no way be regarded as sales events," says Franco Dal Molin, Ciklum Country Manager in Switzerland.
Ciklum`s first seminar in the series will commence on March 7th, 2012, and will be dedicated to Mobile Innovations. In the course of the seminar different projects, developed specifically for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, will be presented. Martin Coul, CEO & Founder of 'The Coul Room' will highlight some “insights and inspiration drawn from the epicentre of the mobile ecosystem” in his keynote speech. Martin Coul is a recognized mobile expert who has previously done business with HTC, Nokia, Samsung, Skype, Sony Ericsson and Symbian. Xeebel AG will introduce its new project www.heatmapz.com, a social couponing platform for club and party organizers and visitors. The next session will be held by Silvano Maffeis,CTO of Vipera, who will present the primary structure of their mobile payment services platform. Silvano Maffeis will also account on his own experience after a year of practicing nearshoring.
The next seminar called “Nearshore Strategies” will be held on June 20th, 2012. The CTO from ricardo.ch as well as other Ciklum Swiss customers will share their own Nearshoring experiences and provide some useful suggestions for corporate strategic decisions to move nearshore.
On October 23rd, 2012, the topic "Agile" will be on the agenda. The seminar will specifically discuss how to measure and compare SCRUM teams’ productivity and success. With more than 150 Agile teams from different clients, Ciklum possesses a significant statistics database to share with the audience.
All seminars will take place in Zurich, at the Prime Tower`s “Clouds” Conference Center, on the 34th floor, from 1.30pm until 5.30pm. For more information click here.
