About team:
ChartsNow is an innovative, new mobile music subscription service, which turns any mobile phone into a music player that works instantly, like an mp3 player, without requiring network access.
We deliver a chart of 20 to 40 tracks, overnight, to the user to make efficient use of network bandwidth. So, every morning, the user has new music instantly available to them.
The user typically subscribes to the service and if they wish to keep any particular tracks, they can buy them.
We are working with partners such as HMV, Clubland, Tesco and Vodafone to build branded versions of the ChartsNow application with a range of ‘Charts’ selected by the partner to meet their users’ needs. We can build the entire offering and simply white-label it or we can provide just the core technology required.

Main product:
The music player for standard (and smart) mobile phones delivering instant play for the user without data connection with new, curated content every 24 hours and efficient, overnight delivery to utilize unused mobile data bandwidth.
The payer will provide consumers with charts. We allow the creation of upto twenty charts. The music charts will be updated on at least a weekly basis with new tracks being made available to the user as they enter the chart. The content is “tethered” downloads, cached on the mobile handset, so that they can be played at any time without the need for a connection. The use of tethered downloads means that there is no ownership of tracks and payments to content owners are made on a low cost streaming economic model. The service is complemented with updated entertainment news editorial and has a social networking function, through Facebook, and Twitter, which allows users to engage and share with peers.
