Lenovo is a global company with capitalisation of $46B and 58,000+ employees. The company sells products in more than 160 countries around the world. Lenovo is the world’s Number 1 supplier of PCs, and is in No. 2 position in Smartphones. The company’s leading position demands that it continuously innovates and pioneers new ideas in technology.

 

SOLUTION

Ciklum arranged two workshop sessions to brainstorm ideas for Lenovo’s webshop and better understand the client’s goals in business process automation.  

eCommerce workshop lasted for 3 days, during which Ciklum helped Lenovo understand its webshop goals and priority in detail. Ciklum consultants led the firm through its aims, carried out research and analysis of competitors, studied best practices and arranged open discussions.

The Business Process Automation (BPA) workshop was designed to conduct an in-depth analysis of all Lenovo business processes, to find process gaps, and study the feasibility of further development of the company’s BPA system.

 

RESULT

  • Clarified product vision for the webshop, where all Lenovo’s requirements were considered, structured and readied for technical implementation
  • Set up the sequence and priorities of Lenovo BPA system development. The project was split into two phases in different modules
  • Lenovo received a detailed specification document, with financial and technical background of the project.
