A US-based global leader in web and mobile dating experiences, this client operates a portfolio of market-defining relationship platforms. Looking to expand their Gen Z user base, they sought to explore a new product concept at the intersection of astrology and relationships.

What Was the Challenge
Gen Z had begun dominating mobile app usage and traditional relationship and astrology apps were struggling to deliver meaningful engagement for this demographic. The client wanted to uncover a new opportunity space by combining astrology and relationship experiences into a single, compelling mobile product.
The market was already saturated with generic solutions, making it challenging to identify a unique value proposition that truly resonated with Gen Z’s emotional drivers. This had to be achieved while simultaneously crafting a compelling product vision, building a prototype, and defining a monetization strategy — all within a tight 8-week timeline.
