INDUSTRYWhat Was the Challenge
The client’s Platform Engineering division faced significant inconsistencies in operational processes due to diverse product areas, multiple partner contract types, and varying SLAs. The lack of standardization and process governance led to inefficiencies in managing automated and semi-automated systems, making it difficult to track performance metrics across multiple dashboards.
Additionally, with increasing pressure to migrate production services to the public cloud and strengthen security and compliance, the client needed a structured framework to ensure operational excellence while maintaining customer focus and agility.

How We Solved the Problem
Ciklum conducted an Operational Excellence assessment of 12 critical product areas, evaluating them against 16 key operational aspects using the CMMI process maturity scale. A cross-product governance board was established to oversee and track improvement initiatives, ensuring their implementation across teams. Ciklum also facilitated the migration of KPIs to a centralized Platform Engineering dashboard, enabling transparent reporting and performance tracking.
